England Under 16s have defeated Northern Ireland 3-0 in the Victory Shield.
England have now put themselves in prime position to retain the Victory Shield.
The game started very closely with both sides hustling each other for possession, but it was Adam Campbell who drove a shot against the post early on.
Devante Cole, son of Manchester United legend Andy, had some of the best opportunities of the half but was denied by the Northern Ireland keeper.
After a neat one two with Jack Jebb, Cole eventually got his reward and slotted a neat finish into the Northern Ireland goal.
On 53 minutes, Arsenal’s Jack Jebb converted England’s second and made it look so easy. His free-kick from outside the box sent the keeper the wrong way to give England some breathing space in Belfast.
Substitute Chuba Akpom set-up Jack Rothwell for England’s third. Rothwell contributed a calm finish after a superb run by Akpom.
England will face Scotland in their final victory shield match as they bid to retain the title.
