Final Group Matches Decided in South America

Argentina and Brazil both topped their respective groups heading into the next round of the Under 17 South American Championship later today.

The two sides overcame five other teams in their group to qualify for the final round.

Joining them are Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay and Colombia.

Brazil thrashed Colombia 5-1 in their final group game to secure their place.

Argentina beat Ecuador 2-0 to head north in their group.

The first matches in the final round take place this afternoon.

Argentina play Paraguay in the opening game of the next round.

Host nation Ecuador then face Colombia followed by Brazil vs Uruguay.

The crunch match that people will be highly anticipating takes place on the last day of the tournament, 9th April where we see Brazil and Argentina.

It is the final game of the tournament and could well prove to be the decider as both these teams have been looking very strong throughout the tournament so far.
