England have been drawn against the hosts in this year’s Under 17 European Championship.
They were placed in Group A alongside Denmark, France and Serbia.
The draw, made at Belgrade City Hall, was conducted by Serbia senior coach Vladimir Petković and Jim Boyce, first vice-chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee.
2009 Champions Germany will take on the team they met in the finals back then, Netherlands, in Group B. They will also play Czech Republic and first-time qualifiers, Romania.
Group A will be played in Novi Sad and Indjija and Group B in Smederevo and Belgrade, with games on 3, 6 and 9 May.
Novi Sad’s Karadjordje Stadium will stage the semi-finals on 12 May and the final three days later.
The top two teams in each group will progress to the semi-finals while the top three teams in each group will qualify for the Under 17 World Cup later this summer.
You can catch unrivalled coverage of the tournament on The Youth Radar.
Alternatively, Eurosport will be showing the games live on TV.
