Caen star M’Baye Niang is attracting interest from a host of European clubs as Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Fiorentina and Inter Milan challenge for his signature.
The 17-year-old striker is expected to leave the French side this summer after their relegation to the second tier of French football following a disappointing season in Ligue 1.
A host of Premier League clubs have been linked with the youngster in the past including Manchester City and, expectantly, Arsenal.
Niang is primarily a striker but can play on either wing as well as the attacking midfield position. He has grabbed five goals in 30 appearances since making his debut against Toulouse when he was 16-years-old for Caen.
The current French Under-21 international has played throughout most levels of youth international football for his country. He has made 16 appearances in the under 16, 17 and 21 sides since 2009.
He has been praised for his upper-body strength and at a few inches over six foot tall, he is an imposing figure for defenders to come up against and shouldn’t be underestimated because of his tender age.
The Youth Radar did a piece on M’Baye Niang just under a year ago. Read it here.
