Sir Alex Ferguson has let rip at Paul Pogba, claiming he has a lack of respect following the teenager’s move to Juventus.
The deal to take the 19-year-old to the Italian champions is not confirmed yet but is expected to be in the next few days.
United were keen to offer the French striker new terms following seven senior appearances last season and a lot of hype surrounding his future at Old Trafford.
Fergie told MUTV: “Pogba signed for Juventus a long time ago as far as we’re aware.
“(It) is disappointing. I don’t think he showed us any respect at all, to be honest.”
Pogba, who scored yesterday for his country in the European Under 19 Championship in Estonia, is the second highly-rated youngster to leave Old Trafford this year following Ravel Morrison’s move to West Ham United in January.
Nick Powell has been drafted in and leads the young talent rising through Manchester United along with brothers Michael and Will Keane, who are both tipped for hot futures ahead of them.
