England Under 16s have retained the Victory Shield for a twelfth successive time.
Kenny Swain’s men beat Scotland by a single goal last night to secure the trophy.
Only a point was needed at Burton Albion’s ground to lift the trophy following a thrashing of Northern Ireland and a narrow victory over Wales, but the Young Lions went one better and beat the Scots thanks to a goal from Giorgio Rasulo, of MK Dons.
The game looked to be heading for a 0-0 draw until added time when Rasulo popped up and curled a beautiful effort past the goalkeeper to start the celebrations.
Reaction from Kenny Swain to come.

The team is taken by Kenny Swain not John Peacock.
