Ivory Coast Lift African U17 Championship After Penalty Win

Ivory Coast denied Nigeria a chance at lifting the African U17 Championship trophy for the third time as they won 5-4 on penalties in Morocco.

Izu Omego gave Nigeria an early lead as the young Eaglets wanted revenge for the group stage match that they lost.

Chris Bile Bedia equalised just before the half hour mark and the match went to penalties, which finished 5-4 to the Ivorians.
