VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Arsenal U21 2-4 Liverpool U21

Watch below as Arsenal crashed to a home defeat at the hands of Liverpool in the Barclays U21 Premier League.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (featured image) got sixty minutes under his belt on his journey to full fitness but couldn’t prevent a defeat on Monday afternoon.

Michael Ngoo opened the scoring after just four minutes for the Reds with a close-range finish but Benik Afobe netted an equaliser when he got in the way of the ball to put a deflection past the Liverpool goalkeeper.

It wasn’t long before Liverpool were back ahead though as Ngoo scored a back post header four minutes later.

Liverpool ran away with the game thereafter through goals from Brad Smith and Kris Peterson before Isaac Hayden grabbed a consolation at the end.
