England Under 17s manager John Peacock has named his squad that will travel to Belguim later this month.
Belguim play host to the European Under 17 Championship Elite Qualifying Round.
This round sees England face the hosts along with Spain and Northern Ireland as they bid for their place in Serbia.
Serbia hosts the summer tournament of which England are defending champions.
Last season’s fellow finalists Spain will prove the toughest challenge as England bid to retain the title.
Peacock, who will be assisted by former Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine, has included plenty of experience in his 18-man squad, with every player having been capped at U17 level this season apart from Liverpool defender Brad Smith, who receives his first call-up.
Chelsea defender Nat Chalobah is the only player that played in the team that beat Spain in last years final.
England’s opening match is against Northern Ireland on 26th March before facing hosts, Belguim, two days later. There final test is the Spaniards on 31st March in a game that could well prove to be the deciding match.
Only the top team will qualify for the summers tournament in Serbia.
