Noel Blake has picked a 18-man squad for a trip to Italy on 12th April.
Five of the players included were part of England’s Under 17 European Championship success in Liechenstein last summer.
The under 18s are used as a gap between under 17s and under 19s which compete in UEFA competitions.
This friendly is designed as a development match and has no competitive significance.
Nevertheless England boast a strong squad and face equally strong opponents in the shape of Italy.
There are first time England call-ups for Sheffield United’s George Long and Plymouth Argyle’s Curtis Nelson, whilst Nottingham Forest defender Jamaal Lascelles was only picked for the first time last weekend when he was called into the U19 squad for their game with Holland.
There has only been one other match this season for the under 18s when they beat Poland 3-0 in November.
Full Squad: Jak Alnwick, Conor Coady, Chuks Aneke, Patrick Bamford, Saido Beharino, Jake Fowler, Rob Hall, Jamaal Lascelles, George Long, Curtis Nelson, George Moncur, Lewis Laing, Jordan Obita, Jack Robinson, Conor Thomas, Bruno Pilatos, George Thorne.
