European Under 17 Championships Schedule

Germany and Netherlands faced each other in the 2009 final. We will see a repeat of that game in both side's openers on 3rd May

England will play France in the opening game of this year’s European Under 17 Championship, held in Serbia.

The game will be played simultaneously with Serbia’s opening encounter against Denmark on 3rd May.

Three days later England take on the Danish contingent before playing Serbia in their final group game a further three days later.

Germany host Netherlands on the opening day, a repeat of the 2009 final. Germany won 2-1 last time the sides met each other in September.

Romania make their Championship debut against Czech Republic, who finished runners-up in 2006.

The top two sides qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament, held on Thursday 12th May.

The final will take place on Sunday 15th May at Novi Sad.

The top three sides in each group will qualify for this summer’s FIFA Under 17 World Cup, held in Mexico.

  1. Nothing so bad, as not to be good for something.
