Viktor Fischer scored Denmark's winner against Serbia

After the first round of games, Denmark find themselves top of the group thanks to a 3-2 win over Serbia.

The hosts found themselves ahead but Denmark’s class showed as the game progressed.

Vojno Jesic grabbed the first goal on the half hour mark for Serbia but they were quickly pegged back as Denmark scored within 2 minutes thanks to defender Nicolai Johannesen’s effort.

Things turned worse for Serbia 6 minutes later and they went into half-time 2-1 down as Bojan Nastic found his effort fall into his own net.

Ogngen Ozegovic’s goal early in the second-half saw Serbia draw level.

Nevertheless, Denmark had enough in them to secure the victory after 76 minutes when Viktor Fischer found the net, two minutes before being substituted.

Serbia will face France on Thursday whilst Denmark take on England.

Later today Germany face Holland and Czech Republic play Romania in their bids to get off to a winning start in Serbia.
