Germany Set Up Semi Meeting With Denmark

Germany have defeated Romania 1-0 to set-up a semi-final encounter with Denmark, the winners of Group A.

Germany stood bottom of the group at the start of the day but managed to finish second

Germany came second in Group B whilst Netherlands finished in pole position.

Netherlands will play England in the other semi-final to complete the draw.

They drew 0-0 earlier today with Czech Republic as the Czechs filled the remaining spot in that group for the FIFA Under 17 World Cup.

The prolific Samid Yesil grabbed Germany’s only goal in their victory.

Germany started the day bottom of their group after a defeat to Netherlands and a draw against Czech Republic.
