Despite finishing second, behind Brazil at the tournament, Uruguay managed to draw with Brazil in the final group stage and drew with and beat Argentina on their way to that position.
England were knocked out the European Under 17 Championships at the semi-final stage to eventual winners, Netherlands.
England looked in a nervy shape at the beginning of the tournament, drawing with France and loosing to Denmark. However, a momentous victory over Serbia in their final game was enough for them to seal qualification.
Elsewhere, Brazil have a very tough group in the form of European semi-finalists Denmark, Ivory Coast and Australia.
Hosts Mexico will play Netherlands, Korea DPR and Congo on their quest to win the tournament they are hosting.
