European Under 17 Championship: France 2-2 Iceland

France kicked off their campaign with an entertaining draw against Iceland.

Goals from Mohamed Chemlal and Anthony Martial gave the French a 2-0 lead but Gunnlaugur Birgisson and skipper Hjortur Hermannsson got Iceland back into the game and earned them a draw.

France dominated large periods of the game and racked up 11 shots compared to Iceland’s four.
