England Under 17s Make It Two Out Of Two

Peacock sees his side qualify with a game to spare in Tallinn.

England Under 17s have beaten Wales Under 17s by a single goal in their bid to reach next year’s European Championship.

Kean Bryan’s effort was enough to see off Wales in the Estonian capital.

John Peacock’s side beat the host nation on Sunday by two goals and a win today has seen them progress to the Elite Qualifying Round of the competition with a game to spare.

They could have won by a greater margin if it wasn’t for Reise Allassani’s shot being denied by the crossbar moments before Bryan’s strike.

Reece Brown had another opportunity to add to the tally but had his effort saved well by Gareth Owen.

Bryan’s goal was worth waiting for though as he made a surging run through the middle of the pitch before lashing home a long-range effort leaving Thomas with no chance in the Welsh goal.

They will face Northern Ireland in their final group encounter on Friday.
