Manchester United will send their Under 21 side back to the Dallas Cup this year.
They will travel back to Dallas where they lost last year’s Gordon Jago Super Group final against Cortiba FC from Brazil.
England’s most prestigious outfit is yet to win the tournament’s Super Group but will be eager to get their name on the trophy this year. The tournament kicks off on 24th March.
David Beckham and Wayne Rooney (for Everton) have appeared in the tournament before in lower youth classifications.
“We are really looking forward to playing in the Dallas Cup again this year. We got to the final last year which was a great experience for everyone involved,” said Manchester United Under-21 manager Warren Joyce in a press release. “Hopefully we can go one step further this year and bring the trophy home.”
