VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: South American U20 – Uruguay 3-3 Peru

An entertaining encounter in Uruguay and Peru’s opening match of this year’s tournament provided a goal-feast with both teams scoring three each.

Yordi Reyna opened the scoring for Peru but his goal was quickly cancelled out by Nicolas Lopez.

Just before half-time Peru found themselves ahead again as Edwin Gomez put them 2-1 ahead.

Uruguay came out in the second half fighting though and gained the lead with a goal each from Ruben Bentancourt and Diego Rolan.

It was heartbreak for the Uruguayans in the final minutes though as they conceded a penalty and Cristian Benavente stepped up to see the Peruvians level with only moments left to play.
