Arsenal Striker Afobe Back In Championship Craving First Team Action

Arsenal have limited Afobe’s opportunities in the first team.

Arsenal youngster Benik Afobe has joined Championship side Millwall on-loan where he hopes to gain first-team action.

Millwall have struggled for goals since Leicester signed previous loanee Chris Wood on a permanent deal.

Afobe spent the first half of the season on loan at Bolton, but failed to make a mark, scoring only three times in 23 appearances.

Afobe featured numerous times for Arsenal in pre-season but couldn’t make a mark on the first team and is yet to make his senior debut.

However, the 19-year-old attacker has represented his country a number of times at youth level. He has played for England 38 times throughout the age levels, scoring 23 times in the process.
