Liverpool cruised into the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup to set up a tie with Chelsea as they beat Hull City last night.
A second-half strike from Lloyd Jones was followed by a brace from Jack Dunn to send them comfortably through.
The three-time winners are looking to add a fourth trophy to their collection and make it their first tournament triumph since 2007.
It was a relatively even first half with Danny Chambers looking dangerous for Hull and Ryan Fallowfield coming up with Liverpool’s best chance.
After the break Jones caught on to Jordan Lussey’s through ball and slotted past Joe Cracknell.
Dunn scored a superb second for Liverpool after the break and doubled his tally when he chased down Cracknell’s clearance and put into an empty net.
