England Under 21s will be looking to enter the European Championships with enviable confidence as they extended their unbeaten run to eight games against Romania last night.

They beat the Romanians 3-0 at Adams Park and remain 16 months unbeaten under Stuart Pearce.

Wilfried Zaha, Jack Robinson and Nathan Delfouneso grabbed the goals that sealed the win.

It was Zaha who opened the scoring when he carved himself a beautiful opening just inside the Romanian penalty area before firing to the left of Laurentiu Branescu in goal.

Robinson slammed the ball in after a delivery from fellow Liverpool man Jonjo Shelvey to get England’s second.

Shelvey was the provider once again for Delfouneso’s winner as he was found unmarked at the back post and had the easy task of converting.

Here are the full highlights from the game.
