Jack Uttridge has attracted the eyes of Brentford and has penned a youth contract with the League One side, The Non-League Paper reports.
The 18-year-old defender will play out the rest of the season at Histon but will then join Brentford on a permanent basis.
Histon assistant manager Brian Page told their official club website: “This is a great opportunity for Jack and one he thoroughly deserves. He has been with us for a number of years now and I’m delighted that his hard work has paid off for him.
“It’s great for the other lads to see him get his chance at a pro club and is a real advertisement for what we are doing here with regard to developing young players.
“Brentford have agreed to send a team down to play us in pre-season and I’m talking to them about one or two other things that they could help us with so it’s a good deal for all concerned.”
