Argentina U17 Win First Game On Home Soil In South American Championship

Argentina celebrated their first win on home soil as they host this year’s South American Under 17 Championship.

After losing to Ecuador and Paraguay previously, they gained their first three points by convincingly beating Venezuela, 3-0.

Sebastian Driussi opened the scoring after four minutes and Matias Sanchez doubled the lead. Driussi scored his second after half time to secure the win.

Elsewhere in Group A, Ecuador drew with Colombia 0-0.
