Single Engvall Strike Sees Sweden Beat The Swiss

Engvall scored the game’s only goal.

Sweden have won their opening game of their European Under 17 Championship campaign by beating Switzerland.

Gustav Engvall came off the bench to score the game’s only goal after 38 minutes.

It was an interesting game of many chances, with perhaps Switzerland having more chances they’ll feel gutted not to get anything out of the game. However, Sweden’s performance was very convincing and the scoreline does not reflect how impressive their general play was.

Video highlights will be available soon.
