Blake Relying On Others As England Pull Back Draw Against Belgium

Georgia have took a firm grip on their Elite Qualifying group in the European Under 19 Championship after beating Scotland – meaning England’s fate is out of their hands on the final matchday.

England’s draw with Belgium yesterday, along with Georgia’s three points against Scotland, means that the Georgians will have to lose against Belgium while England beat the Scots in their final group game.

And England will be eager to make that happen, especially after the side failed to qualify for the European Under 17 Championship this summer.

It was almost disaster for Noel Blake’s men as they only saved a point in the fifth minute of added time through Chelsea’s Lewis Baker. Thomas Foket gave the Belgium’s domination throughout.

For Georgia, Nika KacharavaBudu Zivzivadze and Avto Endeladze gave them a comfortable victory against the Scots, with AFC Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser grabbing the reply.
