Former Manchester United midfielder Quinton Fortune has reportedly said that Manchester United are looking at Turkey U20s Salih Ucan in the FIFA U20 World Cup, which is ongoing at the moment.

Muhsin Ertugra, who used to be in charge of Sivasspor of the Turkish top flight told Lig TV: “Manchester United are scouting Salih Uçan, Quinton Fortune informed me that they are keeping tabs on him.”

Ucan currently plays his club football at Fenerbahce and could be tempted to move this summer after his club were denied entry into any European competitions this year.

The 19-year-old sports a Fellaini-esque hairstyle and also plays in midfield, but in a more deep lying defensive role.

He has made 30 appearances at youth level for Turkey since 2009, scoring twice along the way.

In the current Under 20 World Cup, Ucan provided an assist and scored against El Salvador. Turkey are looking in good shape to qualify for the next stage of the tournament.

Watch the video below compiling some of Ucan’s best moments from this season.
