Chelsea Looking At Portugal’s U20 World Cup Wonderkid

GIL VICENTE - SPORTING ( 2012/2013 )Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen on Sporting Lisbon’s ‘new Cristiano Ronaldo’ – Bruma.

The 18-year-old is currently playing at the FIFA U20 World Cup, where he has banged in five goals so far and propelled Portugal into the second round as top of their group.

Portugese newspaper A Bola are saying that Mourinho wants Bruma to make the same transition as Ronaldo and play in the Premier League.

£12 million is the reported price that Mourinho is willing to bid for the striker but Sporting are keen to hold on to Bruma, believing that a run in the first-team next season could be beneficial to them on and off the pitch as he raises in value.

He has already broke into the main first-team squad at the Portugese top-flight club and scored five goals in 13 appearances for Sporting.

Real Madrid have also joined the hunt, according to the Metro.
