Colombian whizzkid Juan Fernando Quintero has followed the same career path as fellow countryman James Rodriguez and signed for Portuguese outfit FC Porto.
He signs for £4.3million from Pescara after coming from the FIFA U20 World Cup, where he scored three times in four appearances from midfield for the Colombians.
Dubbed as the ‘player to watch’ during the tournament, he did not disappoint and really showed signs of why Europe’s top clubs were chasing him whilst playing in Turkey.
Quintero told Porto’s official club website: “I always wanted to come to this club. I come here with great hopes of winning titles.
“I am very happy, for this is an important step in my career. Now my main concern is working hard every day.”
The playmaker was named player of the tournament at the South American Youth Championship earlier this year, where he led his side to the title.
