Alan Pardew and Roberto Martinez have emerged as the latest clubs wanting Blackpool winger Tom Ince in this transfer window.
Paul Ince told the Football League Show last night that he’d love to keep hold of his son at the Championship club, going as far to say he’d love him to get injured for the remainder of August.
The 21-year-old was the driving force of Blackpool’s play-off push last season. Despite not making it into the top six, Ince racked up 18 goals from the wing which also attracted interest from Stuart Pearce, who called him up to his Euro 2013 England Under 21 squad.
Everton will be favourites ahead of the Toon Army to sign Ince, as it is close to his Merseyside home. However, Pardew has been given the go-ahead to sign new players and will tempt Blackpool with an £8 million bid.
Spurs are also known to be interested and could up that interest if Gareth Bale takes off to Real Madrid this week.
Ince has already turned down a move to Cardiff City this transfer window due to personal reasons.
