England got their Nordic Tournament campaign off to a winning start against Faroe Islands earlier today.

They beat the Faroes by a single goal thanks to a Denzeil Boadu goal in the 35th minute.

The Manchester City forward recently signed a contract at the Etihad after leaving Arsenal, tweeting: “The top is where I want to be and the top is where I will get.” He started his career at Tottenham Hotspur before moving to the Gunners and then leaving for City. Not many players can say they have been at three top English clubs before their 18th birthday.

Tomorrow afternoon Kenny Swain’s men play Finland in their second game. They will play four times over five days in Norway.
