Sud/Sudwest

After losing their season opener against Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend, Bayern Munich were back to winning ways with a convincing display against Unterhaching.

Goals from Michael Eberwein, Adrian Dubler, Lennart Ingmann and Simon Seferings gave Marc Kienle’s side a comfortable victory.

Frankfurt are the early leaders in the division as they remain the only team to keep a 100% record following their 3-2 defeat of Astoria Walldorf.

Bayern Munich 4-0 Unterhaching, Hoffenheim 1-1 Stuttgart, Greuther Furth 3-0 Wacker Burghausen, Karlsruher 2-3 1860 Munich, Freiburg 2-1 Mainz, Augsburg 3-0 Kaiserlautern, Astoria Walldorf 2-3 Eintracht Frankfurt.

Wolfsburg have started the season exactly how they finished the last as they celebrated their second win of the season against Osnabruck on Saturday. Goals from Oskar Zawada, Tolcay Cigerci (2) and Federico Palacios Martinez (3) were enough to make Jonne Fischer’s consolation goal meaningless as the hosts ran out with the win.

Wolfsburg coach Dirk Kunert said: “In the first half we had a very good odd ball. But there was something missing. At the beginning of the second half we did very well and decided the game early. Nevertheless, I want to see more sovereignty and a clearer line in our game. But of course I’m happy with the start of the season. Still much work to do.”

Hertha Berlin remain just behind Wolfsburg on goal difference at the top of the table as they beat Carl Zeiss Jena by a single goal. Junior Ebot Etchi scored the only goal of that game.

Dynamo Dresden 0-2 Hamburg, Holstein Kiel 3-0 Union Berlin, Werder Bremen 1-1 Rot Weib Erfurt, Hansa Rostock 3-1 Lubeck, Hertha Berlin 1-0 Carl Zeiss Jena, Wolfsburg 6-1 Osnabruck, Hannover 4-2 St Pauli.

West

Borussia Dortmund hit seven against newly-promoted Theesen in their second game of the season.

Theesen were victim to Schalke’s 5-0 win last week and Dortmund piled more misery on their youngsters and came back themselves from last week’s unwanted defeat at Wuppertaler.

Leverkusen and Moenchengladbach remain the only two sides with 100% records in the division as they beat Dusseldorf and Bochum respectively.

FC Koln 3-0 Duisburg, Bochum 2-3 Borussia Moenchengladbach, Arminia Bielefield 3-1 Wuppertaler, Borussia Dortmund 7-0 Theesen, Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-1 Bayer Leverkusen, Schalke 1-1 Rot Weiss Essen, Rot Weib Oberhausen 4-2 Bonner SC.
