Group B

Last year’s division winners Auxerre maintained their 100% record by beating Sedan convincingly at home.

Evian go top of the table though after they beat Strasbourg by a four-goal margin.

Strasbourg 0-4 Evian, Nancy 2-0 La Chapelle, Pontarlier 1-1 Mulhouse, Sochaux 1-0 Metz, Dijon 0-1 Reims, Troyes 1-0 Epinal, Auxerre 3-0 Sedan.

Group C

Nantes, who won this group last season, continued their good form with a 4-1 win away from home against Colomiers.

Jeong, Benzina Zouhir, Federic Le Blay and Dylan N’guene scored the goals for last season’s eventual competition runners-up.

FC Nantes coach Phillippe Mao said: “I am satisfied with the performance of my players. We resisted at first to win after without losing our mastery. We managed to put our game to eventually bend the team even after they (Colomiers) scored.

“The changes have brought us fresh and goals. As I say, a group that is not eleven players. I am happy to come to intrude here with these kids. Although the score does not reflect the game, we had problems.”

Tours 4-1 Rennes, Niort 1-1 Angers, Chateauroux 2-1 Guingamp, Stade Brest 2-3 Laval, Le Mans P-P Bayonne, Colomiers 1-4 Nantes, Lorient 3-2 Bordeaux

Last season’s champions Monaco lie fifth after they recovered from last week’s hiccup with a win against Andrezieux.

Nice 2-2 Toulouse, Ajaccio 3-2 Bastia, Nimes 2-1 Cannes, Andrezieux 0-4 Monaco, Saint Etienne 3-0 Le Puy, Gallia Lucciana 2-0 Lyon, Montpellier 0-2 Clermont.
