Group A

Torino went top of the table in Group A after they defeated Modena away from home. All the action happened in the first half as Mattia Aramu put them ahead and goals from Barale, and highly-rated Ghana prospect Emmanuel Gyasi.

Juventus kept up the pressure and prepared well for their UEFA Youth League campaign as they beat Empoli. Anastasios Donis got their opener and it was his good work that won a penalty for their second, that was converted by Simone Emmanuello. They play Copenhagen on Tuesday in European competition.
