West

Bayer Leverkusen dropped their first points of the season against Bonner SC but remain top of the league in the west division.

Ahead of their UEFA Youth League encounter against Manchester United on Tuesday, Leon Heine netted a tenth-minute header for the hosts.

Defensively Leverkusen were sound but their chances in the final third weren’t taken well. “We just do not always choose the right means in the front third,”Coach Nils Drube complained. “United have a team that can play very variable and that comes with great determination to win the point” Drube said ahead of this week’s European game.

Borussia Dortmund 0-3 Arminia Bielefeld, Bayer Leverkusen 1-1 Bonner SC, Schalke 0-2 Koln, Theesen 0-2 Rot Weib Oberhausen, Wuppertaler 1-2 Bochum, Rot Weiss Essen 0-2 Borussia Moechengladbach, MSV Duisburg 3-0 Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Nord/Nordost

A 2-0 win against St Pauli was enough to put Wolfsburg clear at the top of the table by three points following five wins out of five for the reigning champions.

Julian Brandt and the on-form Federico Palacios Martinez scored for Wolfsburg, who had defender Maximillian Rossman sent off controversially in the first half.

Dynamo Dresden 2-3 Hansa Rostock, Hamburg 2-3 Werder Bremen, Union Berlin 1-1 Carl Zeiss Jena, Rot Weib Erfurt 1-3 Osnabruck, Lubeck 1-6 Hertha Berlin, St Pauli 0-2 Wolfsburg, Holstein Kiel 2-2 Hannover.

Sud/Sudwest

In a very open division, Bayern Munich have made an under-par start as they sit 11th/14 after five games.

1860 Munich sit top of the table as they remain one of three teams unbeaten. They beat Astoria Walldorf 4-2 this weekend.

Mainz 0-3 Frankfurt, Freiburg 1-1 Greuther Furth, Kaiserlautern 2-1 Bayern Munich, Hoffenheim 4-0 Wacker Burghausen, Augsburg 1-1 Karlsruher, 1860 4-2 Astoria Walldorf, Unterhaching 3-3 Stuttgart.
