Group A

If you’re into niche football betting, then you might want to stick some money on PSG winning the Championnat Nationale U19 as they remained top after a convincing win away at Quevilly this weekend.

Jean-Kevin Augustin’s brace was among the PSG goals as Kevin Farade, Salif Sanogo and Eboa Eboa Felix grabbed the others as PSG recorded their highest victory of the season so far.

Farade keeps his place as PSG’s top goalscorer this season with six to his name.

Lille are narrowly placed behind PSG and kept up their superb scoring spree this weekend with a 3-0 win over Paris.

Avranches 7-3 Arras, Caen 3-2 Drancy, Lens 2-1 Racing Club, Valenciennes 0-1 Amiens SC, Quevilly 0-5 Paris St Germain, Le Havre 2-2 Amiens AC, Lille 3-0 Paris.

Group B

Evian extended their lead at the top of the table to four points as they thrashed Reims 5-1 while Sochaux could only manage a point away at Sedan.

The results mean that last year’s division winners Auxerre have closed the gap to just three points on second-placed Sochaux and will be looking to mount a title bid in their forthcoming games after a relatively poor start. They won 3-1 this weekend against Troyes.

Sedan 3-3 Sochaux, Metz 2-0 La Chapelle, Pontarlier 0-2 Strasbourg, Dijon 2-3 Nancy, Mulhouse 1-0 Epinal, Reims 1-5 Evian, Auxerre 3-1 Troyes.

Group C

Tours have claimed top spot in Group C in a weekend of drastic change.

Chateauroux and Guingamp – this season’s front runners so far – both lost. This allowed Tours to move to top of the league while Stade Laval occupy second place after a respectable draw with last season’s overall champions Nantes.

Angers 1-2 Bayonne, Chateauroux 0-1 Stade Brest, Niort 3-3 Lorient, Guingamp 0-2 Tours, Nantes 1-1 Stade Laval, Colomiers 1-0 Le Mans, Rennes 2-2 Bordeaux,

Group D

Neither Clermont nor Saint Etienne took the chance to cement their top-of-the-league position in Group D this weekend as both sides drew.

Clermont only managed a point from Saturday’s away trip to Bastia and Saint Etienne drew 1-1 with Nimes on Sunday.

Andrezieux still remain bottom of the table following a defeat to Ajaccio this weekend.

Nice 1-0 Montpellier, Toulouse 5-0 Galla Lucciana, Ajaccio 3-0 Andrezieux, Nimes 1-1 Saint Etienne, Lyon 2-2 Le Puy, Cannes 2-1 Monaco, Bastia 2-2 Clermont.
