West

Leverkusen came from behind twice to protect their unbeaten record and remain top of the west division.

Arminia Bielefeld went ahead through Nujin Hassan early on and maintained their lead until but Paterson Chato quickly responded for Leverkusen just after the break.

Hassan then added his second and put the home side back in the lead before Leon Heine equalised.

Marc Brasnic gave Leverkusen the lead for the first time in the game with just ten minutes to play before Dennis Engelman sealed the victory with just three minutes remaining.

Theesen 3-2 MSV Duisburg, Arminia Bielefeld 2-4 Leverkusen, Dortmund 2-1 Borussia Moenchengladbach, Schalke 2-0 Bonner SC, Oberhausen 1-3 Bochum, Essen 1-1 Wuppertaler, Fortuna Dusseldorf 1-1 FC Koln.

Nord/Nordost

Wolfsburg could be the best youth team in Europe after they won their 11th match of the season away to Hannover.

It means Wolfsburg have now won every single game this season and look well on course to retaining their Junioren Bundesliga U19 title.

It was the likely suspects that got among the goals as strikes from Paul Seguin, Tolcay Cigerci and Federico Palacios Martinez sealed all three points against a Hannover side depleted by the sending off of Wolff early on.

Coach Dirk Kunert said: “It was a very close game. Hanover 96, despite us outnumbering them, had a good game.”

Union Berlin 1-2 Lubeck, Dynamo Dresden 5-0 Carl Zeiss Jena, Hamburger 1-3 St Pauli, Holstein Kiel 0-0 Rot Weib Erfurt, Hansa Rostock 1-1 Osnabruck, Hannover 0-3 Wolfsburg, Werder Bremen 2-2 Hertha.

Sud/Sudwest

There was a stunning average of 5.4 goals in the south/southwest division this weekend, meaning it is all change at the top for yet another week.

Mainz won 3-0 against 1860 Munich to propel themselves into top spot while Stuttgart threw away the chance to be there by losing a thrilling encounter 6-3 against Karlsruher.

Karlsruher 6-3 VFB Stuttgart, Bayern Munich 7-0 Astoria Walldorf, Greuther Furth 4-2 Hoffenheim, Wacker Burghausen 3-5 Kaiserlautern, Freiburg 0-1 Unterhaching, Mainz 3-0 1860 Munich, Augsburg 0-4 Frankfurt.
