Championnat National U19: PSG Lose Derby To Fall Further Behind Lille

Paris St Germain lost the derby of the capital this weekend against lowly Paris in embarrassing circumstances.

The favourites to win this year’s Group A in the Championnat National U19 were beaten 4-1 to allow Lille to go seven points clear at the top of the division.

Jean-Kévin Augustin grabbed a consolation for PSG, who allowed Paris to grab only their fifth win of the season.

Kevin Farade was dismissed for the French giants in what was only their third defeat of the season.

Lille remain top after thrashing Arras 5-1 on Sunday afternoon.

After a run of bad form by the teams at the top, just one points separates first and fifth in Group B.

However, with Sochaux’s fixture against Reims postponed this weekend, the rearranged tie will give them the chance to go three points clear at the top and defend their unbeaten record.

Stade Laval went top of Group C after a huge win over Colomiers this weekend and in Group D Monaco maintained their poor form with a 5-2 defeat against Nice.

Le Havre 3-0 Avranches, Lille 5-1 Arras, Paris 4-1 PSG, Quevilly 1-2 Lens, Racing Club 0-0 Caen, Amiens sc 1-1 Amiens ac, Valenciennes 4-0 Drancy.
