Lazio hit nine goals past Avellino on Saturday to become the first side in the Campionato Nazionale Primavera to hit thirty points this season.

Giuseppe Sculli opened the scoring after just two minutes and Luca Crecco doubled the lead just four minutes later.

Sculli scored his second after quarter of an hour and Joseph Minala then netted on 17 minutes to grab Lazio’s fourth. Another from him plus efforts from  Mattia Fiore and Milana saw Lazio go in at half-time 7-1 ahead.

Gianmarco Steri and Damiano Sterpone made it nine in the second half. Duilio Evangelista and Vittorio Martinangelo scored for Avellino.

Second placed Fiorentina were 2-1 winners at Napoli to keep the pressure up on the league leaders.
