VIDEO: Chelsea’s Solanke Scores Twice As England U17s Beat Belgium

Dom Solanke scored a brace as England under 17s beat Belgium at St George’s Park yesterday.

The Chelsea youngster led a comeback which saw the Young Lions come from 1-0 down to triumph in the international friendly.

It was a deserved victory for England, who were dominant throughout but undone in the first half by a Paolino Bertaccini opener.

In fact, it could have been Belgium’s second as Nany Dimata missed an early penalty.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles set up Solanke for his first goal from six yards out and he doubled his tally to secure England’s win by finishing one-on-one after getting on the end of Kieran Dowell’s through ball. secured England’s win when Kieran Dowell thread him through and he made no mistake one-on-one.
