Chelsea New Boy Kurt Zouma Maintains France’s 100% Record

Chelsea new boy Kurt Zouma scored a last minute winner for France under 21s last night as they edged past Belarus.

Willy Sagnol’s side went six points clear of their closest rivals Iceland in European Under 21 Championship qualifying and maintained their 100% record with last night’s win.

Monaco’s Anthony Martial played a ball in from the right wing for Zouma to dispatch past Vladislav Vasilyuchek in the 92nd minute of last night’s clash.

Sagnol told uefa.com: “I’m not surprised by Belarus’s good performance, as we had a hard time in the first game. We also knew that we were in for a difficult task because we were missing a lot of players – almost a full team of absentees. We were also a bit below par in terms of our physical impact in the first half. We managed to improve that in the second half and the match was transformed.”

Watch below Zouma’s effort.
